Ah, today. Nothing happened. My Frenchy showed me good music in a language I barely understand and we talked about our mutual love for Eminem at very young ages before we knew what pussies and bitches were. I made Pierre a sandwich and we watched Cold Mountain. It basically took the entire day because we had to pause it to go to a Youth Sunday practice n'stuff, but we finished it around 9 and it was good in a horrible I-feel-incomplete way. Like when Hermione didn't end up with Snape in the Epilogue.
So, that was my day. Sorry for the unnecessary abundance of links.
I'm tired.

Shooooow him what I've got.
Oh, she's actually going to blog today? Amazing!
Too bad it's nearing 12AM and I tired and whineeeeeee.
So the French students left today... and then came back. Fo' srs. If you don't know (which, honestly, you should), there was a volcano in Iceland* and the ash from it is up in the air and jackin' up all dese flights back to da homeland n'stuff. Pierre and the rest of the lovely children boarded on a bus after a breakfast buffet and there was lots of hugging strangers and awkward goodbyes with people you didn't really know, but really wanted to know. There was crying, too. Lots of crying.
But then millions of emails were sent out saying that their flight back to Paris was cancelled which they knew, of course, but the travel agency was all up in their grills like, "GO TO DA AIRPORT," so they went and the Embassy was like LOLNO. So anyway, the emails were from my French teacher saying that if anyone could please take back their student until maybe Thursday, it's be awesome. So Pierre's sleeping in his room, and I'm actually kind of happy he's back. It didn't feel right the hour I awoke from a nap before I learned they were coming back.
I will try to regulate this whole blogging thing, and I'm sorry I'm such a failure. Not really.
Something to think about: I have one line of Lady Gaga in my head, and of course it's "...love the game..." No. I do not love The Game.
Please excuse my: Poker Face. And the fact that I use muh ghetto t@lk.
*Of all places to have a volcano, man. Iceland. Just sayin'.

My feet hurt.
It's only, like, 10 and I'm beat. I currently have my wet hair in the rats' nest it always comes out of the shower to be, with my comb dangling in it. But anyway.
Today was just a normal school day except I had a French boy following me around and lots of people asking him questions, and needing me to translate on both ends. There was a dance tonight that we went to and it was actually nice because Pierre and I really didn't see much of each other except to say, "Are you okay?" and, "How are you?" I danced a little bit, but I'm white. There was lots of fist pumping, though!
I'm sorry about this blog being short, but we are going to Philadelphia tomorrow to get murdered. Wish me luck!

French fry said what?
So I'm currently sitting in my room with the lights on and door open and Pierre is the guest room.
It was the most nerve-racking thing being surrounded by beautiful girls with envious accents and not-so-good looking guys... but that's my opinion, of course. Since I have a boy, there really wasn't much to talk about but I did talk to some girls who were very nice and knew very good English. I loved hearing them compare Paris to Washington DC (where they were before they came here); it was nice hearing how America was cleaner and people were almost creepily nice to them.
Pierre and I sort of met (not really) and then again began to talk, which was pretty freaking awkward. My friend Tara came over to help along the conversation and made it a lot better, and stuck around and talked to both of us through our "dinner". Pierre was very quiet and claimed to be tired, and he honestly looked it, but it wasn't the best when he would say, "Yes, I understand," in a quiet way, not really being rude but being rude.
The car ride home was very relaxing, my mother talking to Pierre and shtuff. His father "is journalist" and he actually was 1/4 writer of a book about France's land, and he actually gave us a copy of the book, which I thought was really sweet. After we got home, the awkwardness subsided almost completely and mom, my sister Dana, Pierre and I talked for maybe 45 minutes about France and America and all sorts of scattered subjects. I mean, it was so unawkward that when Muffin brought in a dead bunny he seemed completely fine with it. He said he knew because he has a few cats at home. THUG LYFE.
Hopefully tomorrow with be interesting enough to blog about ;]

And I put my hands up
Today consisted of cleaning the upstairs portion of the house (which we did last week or something, but still): Dana and my bathroom, our rooms, and the finishing touches on Pierre's room. Tomorrow's the big day!
We also washed my sheets and I then proceeded to fall asleep on my bare bed and naked pillows with my blanket draped across me. It was a lovely three hour nap, except for when I dreamt that one of my old friends (currently a gateway drug lover) overdosed on cocaine and died, and someone I barely knew told me over Facebook and acted I was crazy when I went through the denial stage of grief. Just thought you'd like to know.
I'm thirsty.

You are taller than a mountainnnnn.
AIM conversation that just happened:
Me: Why do your blog titles always have to do with The Game?
Tyler: Because I like ruining your life.*
Today I went to the mall with my sister and I spent $170. On cosmetics. Slap me. But then read my defense.
When I was younger, I really never cared much for makeup. I began wearing it in eighth grade because it was one of those obligatory stages in life where you wear that crap because everyone else officially was, but this year was when I actually wanted to bother applying these pore-clogging concoctions before school and since my brain obviously peaked late with the femininity, I always want high-quality stuff. So I spend a lot, like on mineral make up (you know, like from the "Swirl, Tap, and Buff!" commercials? Yeah, I wear the foundation that your mother loves).
I'm sorry that this whole blog is about me finding out about my vagina-fueled thoughts about cosmetics and LOOKING PRETTY.
Two days until my French Fry arrives! Corny jokes are corny.

*Now I obviously made our chatspeak non-existent, even though our horrible typing just includes lack of capitalization. I wanted to make Tyler and I seem all professional and cool.
