Oh, she's actually going to blog today? Amazing!
Too bad it's nearing 12AM and I tired and whineeeeeee.
So the French students left today... and then came back. Fo' srs. If you don't know (which, honestly, you should), there was a volcano in Iceland* and the ash from it is up in the air and jackin' up all dese flights back to da homeland n'stuff. Pierre and the rest of the lovely children boarded on a bus after a breakfast buffet and there was lots of hugging strangers and awkward goodbyes with people you didn't really know, but really wanted to know. There was crying, too. Lots of crying.
But then millions of emails were sent out saying that their flight back to Paris was cancelled which they knew, of course, but the travel agency was all up in their grills like, "GO TO DA AIRPORT," so they went and the Embassy was like LOLNO. So anyway, the emails were from my French teacher saying that if anyone could please take back their student until maybe Thursday, it's be awesome. So Pierre's sleeping in his room, and I'm actually kind of happy he's back. It didn't feel right the hour I awoke from a nap before I learned they were coming back.
I will try to regulate this whole blogging thing, and I'm sorry I'm such a failure. Not really.
Something to think about: I have one line of Lady Gaga in my head, and of course it's "...love the game..." No. I do not love The Game.
Please excuse my: Poker Face. And the fact that I use muh ghetto t@lk.
*Of all places to have a volcano, man. Iceland. Just sayin'.
